Mrs. Ray KaylPonca Neb.—Mrs. Ray Kayl, 69, of Ponca, died May 9, 1974 in a South Sioux City nursing home. Services will be at 10:30 am, May 11 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Ponca. The Rev. Paul J. Schwaab will officiate and burial will be at Calvary Cemetary at South Creek under the direction of Larkin Northside Funeral Home of Sioux City. Rosary will be at 7:00pm, May 10 at the church. The body will be taken to the church on Friday afternoon.Mrs. Kayl, the former Dorothy Bennett was born May 12, 1904, at Newcastle. She was married Sept. 12, 1930, at Newcastle. They had farmed near Ponca since. Mrs. Kayl was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and alter society.Survivors in include the widower; three sons, Paul of Winnebago, Gary of Ponca, Patrick of Grand Island; three daughters, Mrs. Larry (Donna) Lund of Dakota City, Mrs. Jack (Carol) Rahn of Sergeant Bluff, Miss Mary Ann Kayl at home, a brother Joe Bennett and a sister Mrs. Greg (Helen) Kneifl both of Newcastle. She was preceded in death by a son, Armand and her parents and brothers and sisters.
